ive looked all over forums from here and other sites and i cant seem to find an answer to my question.
1. using vm fusion and bootcamp xp: will making changes (ie saving to windows or in control panel -if at all possible) will it reflect in bootcamp if i switch over.

2. if i use fusion, is it even necessary to go into the bootcamp partition anymore.

im an architecture student that just switched to mac. i need to run autocad, 3d studio max, rhino and sketch up in windows. if you all have any other suggestions please let me know. thanks for all your help, i know many users are really good at this stuff.

edit: im running a mbp 2.2 if it matters

Yes, it accesses your windows partition directly.

Mainly just speed. Under VMWare you are sharing resources. Directly booting Windows will give it access to both of your cores, all of your RAM, better video, etc. It's essential for any recent games.
