1.1.2 upgrade question [Archive]

I want to upgrade my jailbroken ipod touch from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2. Will I have to lose my installed apps and settings? the posted guide has been so confusing.

Apps yes, settings, no.Can be replaced in about 5 minutes.

So settings for installed apps will remain, such as my calendar events? Awesome.

What is the best way as of right now?

I tried the way where you jailbreak 1.1.1 then install that oktop app, then you should be able to run the update but I don't think it worked unless I missed a step

If you are in 1.1.2 you are half done. Now you jailbreak the Touch.
