Hello,
I need to upgrade the HD on my macbook pro before I upgrade to leopard.
My priorities on my macbook are now:
1: largest capacity
2: best battery life
3: speed performance
Can anyone point me to the ideal HD? I heard 300 gigs were available? are these okay?
thanks!

I've just ordered a 250GB HDD (this (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131277)one to be precise) an since it spins at 5400rpm, I figure that it will have roughly the same power consumption as the 80GB drive that came with my MB.
Anyone else have any input into this?
I guess if worse comes to worse and it's not suitable (i.e. my battery life halves or something stupid) then I'll just return it and put the original one back in.

i've read online of some people putting even faster rpm drives (7200) into their macbooks and getting better battery life. the consensus was that the built in hd ran very hot and inefficiently.
