Greetings...I am thinking of upgrading my MacBook Pro and 24" alu iMac to 4gb of memory.

Do you think there is any advantage to buying the $88 2-2gb sticks of Micron memory @ OQC (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Micron/53SDR2MIC2GB/) vs the 2-2gb sticks of OWC memory (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20World%20Computing/5300DDR2S2GB/) for approx $60?

Can there be that much difference quality wise to support the 20% upcharge?

Opinions and comments appreciated.

The performance will be exactly, absolutely the same between all brands of 100% compatible RAM, because it is the Mac that sets the memory bus speed, not the RAM.

It depends on how much you need the extra performance. It's probably better optimized to run on the Mac, probably has a lower CAS Latency, etc so it runs a little faster. Honestly, you probably won't notice a much of a difference, I'd go with the cheaper RAM.
