Any way to tether iPhone to macbook using iTunes 5 and iPhone 1.1.2?

I would like to do that thing (sorry, Im a bit of a computer dummy) where you can tether your iphone to your mac without jailbreaking but using a GUI???

I have itunes 5 and iphone firmware 1.1.2 loaded and I use leopard, so what are the latest hacks out there??

There is a guide in this forum. However, it requires to hack your iPhone and that can void you Apple Warranty.

Also, it is risky since AT&T can cut off your EDGE service because tethering is illegal and violates Costumer Service Agreement.
