Final Cut Express Quits After Launch

I open final cut express and display the opening loading screen for about 2 seconds then quits.

It is 3.5.1 HD

and Im running leopard on an iMac 2.4GHz 2GB Ram

Any solutions? Ive checked software update and there is nothing for it!
