Is my iPhone dead? (Yes, I restored)

I've had the same iPhone since June 29. Starting today, after no particular incident, I've been having a few problems:

1. Whenever I make or take a call, the microphone doesn't work, unless it's on speaker. Calls work fine on speaker.
2. I can not listen to music over the speaker unless I turn on the music while in a call.

Any help? I can't reach a genius until Wednesday.

EDIT: iPhone hasn't been hacked since the 1.1.1 scare.

I would take it to the apple store. Should still be under warranty

well, the condition/problem discuss above also happened to my iPhone but dont't panic ..

because its not a genuine problem....
