Not sure if anyone will have a copy of this but thought I would check. Looking to install on my MBP, so I would need the full copy. I have checked ebay, but I'm not sure how legit it is. Please let me know if you can help.
XP home or Pro would do.

Just to keep it in play, if there is more than one copy, I am interested myself.

Hmmm....I have many CD's of Windows Xp (Home) from Dell, they are basically Windows XP versions. I have 1 key from my old Desktop that came with it. I have used my other key and Dell CD on my Mac right now and it is flawless. If you want it let me know.

I will double check tomorrow, but I think I have 1 maybe 2 XP Pro disks and unused keys floating around.. I will check and then we can discuss a price?
What did you have in mind?

As long as it is legit, and I can install it on a mac via boot camp, I don't care what kind it is. I can find them on ebay for around $90, so I would be looking for something less than that.

I found one full and one upgrade.
I will sell the full for $80 shipped.
I need to check the upgrade as I am pretty certain it is the full but the wrong disk was put in. If I get that sorted I will sell for $80 as well.
I believe these are SP1, but downloading SP2 is easy.

$60 for my full version provided by Dell with valid key from an eMachines desktop of mine that I just took apart. The key on the back doesnt come off so I will just type it out for you. The Dell disk is the same as the XP disk. I used the Dell CD on my MacBook and it is fully functional without problems. PM if you want it.

I have 1 or 2 unused LEGIT serial keys of Windows XP Pro. If you're interested, feel free to PM me. I have these due to being part of the MSDN academic alliance.
I should point out that if you install using boot camp, then re-install w/ Fusion, it will say that the "max" number of installs has already been met, and that you need to go through the automated "validation" service over the phone. It's a 10 minute process, but it works fine afterwords.
If eBay is selling these for $90, I'd be happy to sell for around $60-70. Please let me know!

I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to sell those, seeing as they're given to you for free. Must be in the Terms & Conditions somewhere...

just a word of advice to the buyer, if your looking to install this on your mbp with LEOPARD, the windows cd has to be SP2, i tryed installing a sp1 disk and thought i'd upgrade later, but it wont even let you install. --- Popped in a Sp2 disk and all was flawless.
just saying make sure you buy a SP2 disk

Preinstalled OEM versions are licensed only for the box they come with - installing them on another is against the terms of the license you accepted when purchasing the machine.
iirc. :o

That is good to know.
About a year ago I was able to upgrade a SP1 disc and code to SP2 after a phone call to MS. All I had to do was pay for shipping. $10 or something like that.

You're probably right.
That being said, are you really allowed to RE-sell any serial keys? I was under the impression that re-selling them was against TOS?
done mean to but in here, but if anyone has XP restore disks for Home edition, prefrebaly media center edition, PLEASE drop me an email
i already have a serieal number, so i dont need to buy that

If this is retail (not OEM) and full (not upgrade), I will buy. Just send me the details.
Also sent PM.

I'm not meaning to be intrusive, but after the original inquirer gets his copy, I would also like to buy an OEM Windows XP copy with serial number for about $50. I'll use it for one stupid program at work but that's about it. Please PM with what you have available. Thanks!

Yes and no, depending on the model.
Some discs wont work, but others will, as all they are is vanilla XP discs.
Good luck :D
For example, my Dell Optiplex GX270 XP disc will work on any machine.

RapidShare.com is a site for pirated software.
Why bother paying 13 bucks when its already illegal software in the first place.
At that point you might as well torrent the damned thing and keep the 13 bucks.
