i'm typing this thread on it right now

got the 13.3 whitebook 2.2 ghz 120 gb

so far i love it. i will post a full review soon, as i know that reviews of this whitebook helped me in my purchasing decision.





some of the most common things i use are: torrents, aim, mail, media stuff

so what are some must have applications?

Well covering the basics you will need VLC Media Player found at : http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Adium X is the application for MSN/AIM/Jabber/Yahoo messenger and many other instant messenger services. It also has awesome features for personalizing the messenger windows and chats. It can be found at : http://www.adiumx.com/

I've found Mail.app to be quite useful for accessing my .mac mail, work mail and several freebie mails like hotmail and gmail. You should know where that is 😉

Transmission is the easiest, most lightweight and convinient Torrent app out there IMHO. It deletes the .torrent files automatically and is not a memory hog like Azureus. Although Transmission doesn't allow for the same ammount of prefrences and features its more then enough.
