I have an extra 250GB 2.5 SATA HD that I want to stick into an enclosure. These are the enclosures that I was looking at.

Transintl (http://www.transintl.com/store/category.cfm?category=2643)
FirewireDirect (http://www.firewiredirect.com/product/586/)
Oyen Digital (https://oyendigital.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=E&Product_Code=EB2-S)

They all appear to be the same enclosure for around the same price except the Transintl enclosure is $20 more and on backorder. Given that does anyone have any recommendations on the these companies? Also what are your opinions of this enclosure? Would you recommend another over this one?

I don't know yet, but I'll find out in around 2-3 weeks. I've been looking for a decent versatile 2.5" enclosure for portable storage and a decent 3.5" enclosure to stay at home. Your post put me in touch with these guys, for which I am grateful.

International shipping to the UK is horrendous from Transintl, but Oyen Digital have an eBay store. $50 combined shipping for both the 2.5" and the 3.5" enclosure. Amazing. I am so damn happy. I'll let you know how I find them when I get them.

Again, many thanks.
