superdrive reads\burns both CDs and DVDs as a combo drive mainly just Reads DVDs but will burn and read CDs

Superdrive burns DVD's
Combo drive burns CD's but can only read DVD's.
Pay the money and get the Superdrive. You never know when you'll need it.
A superdrive is a DVD burner. Combo drives are CD readers/writers and DVD readers, but can't burn DVDs.
