Western Digital Caviar 1TB GP Drive in my iMac

From a compatibility standpoint, i just bought a 1TB Western Digital green drive to put in my iMac 20" c2d... has anyone tried this drive in the imac, or know if it is compatible? i ask because i didn't get the drive yet and i still have time to return it... thanks! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136151

From what I've read, 1TB drives and even 750GB drives are still not as reliable as 500GB ones. You'd probably be better of buying a firewire 800 hard drive enclosure that can house 2 hard drives. You'll get more space since you can still keep your current internal drive, and you'll have the option to use one of the drives as a Time Machine back up if you so desire.
