Original Wallpaper pics

I had been collecting suitable quality and format pics for my pre orderred iPhone into a designated folder on the PC. When the iPhone arrived, I then duly selected this folder for 'Sync' purposes and find the pics all nicely recorded on the iPhone.

I have only just noted however, that in my Photo Sync selection choice, I must have somehow caused the loss of the Orig iPhone wallpapers .. which has now disappeared.

Can anyone advise what I did wrong in my selection .. and how I can get back (or get copies) of the lost iPhone wallpapers ??

They do not show up when selecting a new wallpaper? They will in the Photo Library. Really unless the phone had a mod, there is no chance they could have been deleted.
