Hello,

For moving movies etc... between computers I would like to have one partition of my external harddrive to be formatted in fat32, so it has no problems with OS X nor with Windows. Is this in any way possible? I mean, I'd like one partition to act like a 'usb stick' if you understand what I mean, no compatibility issues whatsoever..

Possible? If so, how?

Thanks!

You can do this. Disk utility should be able to do it for you. It won't cause any problems (knock on wood eh?).

awesome!

Damn I can't express how much I like OS X, it's just fantastic.
FAT32 the best option by the way, or should I pick something else?

FAT32 is your best option for going between Windows and OS X. It may even be the only option (aside from possibly FAT16).

It's not an OS X thing though. Most any OS will allow you to partition a drive with multiple file systems. Although I don't think Windows allows for HFS type partitions...
