Hi All

I've had a browse through the forum but can't easily find the answer (although I'm sure it's there somewhere).

I'm in Belgium and would like an iPhone but really don't want to pay out €749 for an unlocked phone from France. I have a friend regularly visits the US - is it just a case of buying the phone then bringing it back to Europe and hacking it or do you have to sign up to a rate plan at the same time then cancel it etc. It's not clear to me.

Thanks for your advice and help.

www.international-orders.com will ship you an unlocked iPhone and you pay in US$.

I haven't used them so I can't vouch for them, but there you go. Something to consider.

Only problem then is that you get stuffed by customs, if someone buys it and brings back in their pocket then you skip that.

Thanks for the link though :)
