Last day to "sign up for" your $100 credit. There is no expiration on redemption.

Hmm... If this is the last day, that means Apple will need to choose a new button to replace the credit notice on their homepage.

I'm thinking... Mac Pro updates?

Yeah, it is not the last day you can redeem the credit. Once you have signed up and received your $100 certificate it doesn't expire.

This is the other place where it didn't hurt Apple to do the refund. I am sure there are quite a few people who never found out or simply forgot to sign up and because of that they are going to miss out on any refund.

just a heads up: if you applied for the iPhone credit the first couple of days they offered it, a handful of those are not valid. i ran into this problem a few weeks ago at the store. they just had me go to the website and do it again, and it worked, but if you did it the first few days and haven't tried using it yet, just make another one today because if it's invalid, you won't have a way to remedy that later.

Can you use that $100 store credit on a new iPhone? Or are they simply giving you a $100 gift certificate?

I went to the Apple store on Fifth Avenue in NYC last Sunday, December2 to buy a new iMac. I asked the sales guy if I could use the $100 credit from iPhone {which I downloaded and printed way back when) and he told me it was no long good. Man was I pissed! I left without buying the iMac but now I am encouraged to try a different method. I'll order over the internet and see if my credit works. Thanks.
