Application uninstall

I am new o the world of MACs and OSX.

I want to uninstall an application – like completely uninstall it – I know if I just drag it to the trash there will still be remnants of the program still in the HD.

The application does not have an uninstall function.

I want to ensure the ‘Punkbuster’ is totally gone from my HD. The application is AmericasArmy www.americasarmy.com

I found this site which explains things better for me but looking for more detailed information on locating these leftover files.

The only leftover files will be in ~/Library/Application Support and ~/Library/Preferences.

Most of the time, just putting an app in the trash will get rid of it, and it'll just leave configuration files, which don't slow down the system like they do in Windows. However I think Punkbuster scatters itself everywhere, but this is the exception rather than the rule.

I think your best bet will be to do a search for "punkbuster" and just delete everything it finds. Usually files are named appropriately and you shouldn't have too much trouble figuring out what file belongs to what application.
