Isn't it your fault? The only thing you can do is pay to get it fixed properly otherwise your are going to have to live with it. Just go in and ask if they can repair the computer. That's great you payed a lot for it but you should have known to put it away.

Good Luck.

I guess it is my fault (cousins... :() Its not like I left it sitting there unattended. I was watching a movie on my laptop, and it happened.

The damage only extended towards the bottom part of my laptop, not the top. I don't see why I have to pay for more dents then weren't my fault.

No, you will not be covered for the top part of the case. Unless there is record of what he did (which it sounds like he was doing you a favor) you are out of luck.

I really doubt that happened though, sounds like you are trying to get something for nothing (even though he already gave you that when you helped you).

Like I would take pliers to my own laptop...
Just looking for a little empathy here. I guess not.

Why dont you sue anybody that has come within 10 metres of your computer? Most Americans do it all the time.

my wife spilled beer on my pc laptop and the keyboard is malfunctioning...

It's only a year old and i paid 2 g's for it, i also want to sue my wife and want my money back

LET'S START A MOVEMENT

ps
that event was the catalyst of me getting this MBP im typing from, so maybe you should look at it like this: everything happens for a reason.

Yes! I have already sued 12 people today...

It's good to be an American!
