This flashlight automatically increases the backlight to full brightness on launch, then restores to your user settings on close! Plus, it has a really kickass icon--so great I think I'm going to use it for my avatar.

As I mentioned, this flashlight automatically turns brightness up to full on launch, and restores your brightness settings on exit. Also, it displays a full screen rectangle instead of leaving the status bar at the top.

As far as I've been able to tell, Erica's version was more of just a joke, or an example app to show how to start an app with uikit.
