how do i get one of those things that says "wirelessly posted by blah blah" when i post using iPhone? i've made posts using it and it hasn't come up.

I believe you have to post it via the macrumors mobile site

does iPhone not automatically navigate to the iPhone mobile site when you just click www.macrumors.com from an iPhone? wow.. how do you get to the mobile site?

Wow. I mean, WOW.
This site just keeps getting better and better! I started coming here when the iPhone was launched and since then have been helped through my transition to the 'light side' with my first Mac purchase and now my iTouch + jailbreak. I've only donated to one site in my life, but as soon as the holidays blow by, I think MacRumors is going to become the second.

Isn't the point of the iPhone to browse the internet as it was intended to be browsed?
