okay im new here so have patience i left my fast 24"imac on wednesday in sleep mode i get here today and it is extremely slow opening internet pages even apple .com ,i tried itunes and its abit quicker but not as fast any suggestions???

I agree w/ both... if they don't work, turn off your computer for 24 hrs. Then try again. Overheating of the computer forces the hardrive to self-preserve itself by slowing down.
