I was just wondering if I'll have trouble with printer drivers when migrating over to Intel hardware. I currently have a Konica-Minolta Magicolor 2430DL, and I was wondering how well it will work with Intel Macs. Anyone here successful with that combo?

intel hardware versus ppc hardware doesnt matter. The thing i would check is whether or not the manufacture updated their drivers for leapord.

Shouldn't be a problem, just use the install disk that came with the printer just to make sure the drivers are installed, good luck ;)

Doesn't the driver have to be ported for Intel hardware?

Dude, this printer is 2 years old. I think the Intel Macs were barely rolling off the assembly line then.

Kon-Min's website says the latest drivers are included in the Mac OS installer.

Would anyone be a sport and check to see if this printer driver is on their Intel Mac?
