S skuzzy macrumors member Dec 4, 2007 #2 Wouldn't any normal external optical drive work? Just as long as it has a tray with a spindle in the middle to hold the disk in place?

I don't know, which is why I asked 🙂 Is there one particular brand out there that is more reliable than another, or one that I should steer clear from? Thanks
