Hello All,
I am in the process of purchasing a new Intel Server from Apple, but there is 1 thing I am stuck on- Internal or external raid solution.
The plan is to use 3 750 SATA drives in a RAID 5 configuration. This is then going to write to a SONY LIB-81 AIT5 tape system. What are the pros and cons of using internal vs external?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I think the main differences are internal raid isn't hot-swappable and limited to 4 drives on the Mac Pro.
