You are also able to modify sendfile so you can play back mp3 files you download and send them in an email!

is it possible to download mp3's off the internet and have them added to the music library? that would be awesome

Yes u can

mp3,mpeg,videos,jpeg,torrents ( but no client for iphone yet)...and many more just read the thread... the guys are good
