I love being able to watch videos on the iphone while I'm on a bus or airplane, but I'm tired of having to hold it the entire time. Has anyone found a good portable stand or someway to hang the phone on the seat in front of you?

Thanks...

A friend of mine gave me this case, works perfect as a stand. Check the site out, I think they have a few different cases that work as a stand too.

Bend a paperclip into a stand. Bring a few spares in case you misplace it.

Michaels sells small picture frame easels, for $2-$3 that would work in a pinch.

Search the forums for 'iphone stand' and you can find some pics.

Thanks. Some great ideas.

I've been spending the last 10 minutes bending paperclips.

Make an origami iPhone stand.

Try one of these iPhone / iPod Touch stands from BullRest (http://www.bullrest.com). It folds flat to the size of a credit card to fit in your wallet.

A new one, the BatRest, will be released on about 10th August for the iPhone 3G.

the bull rest looks perfect... the belkin is nice as well, if you do not have a case, but the bull looks as if it will work with your existing case...

I've just released a new one, the BatRest which fits the iPhone 3G as well as the older models, and, like the BullRest, folds flat to credit card size to fit in your wallet. Although I am a little biased because I designed it myself, I think it's very cool. See www.seskimo.com.

I agree, very cool and useful. Congrats on the design, I think it will prove to be very popular.

I made a very simple & free stand for my phone. recently on a flight it supported my iphone in landscape perfectly on the small fold-down table on the seat in front.

I'm still a big fan of my Movie Wedge http://www.moviewedge.com/ Works anywhere.

Second choice in a pinch is the hotel room key mod. Here's one post about it: http://blogs.bnet.com/businesstips/?p=5125

I’ve been using the inyourface (http://www.theinyourface.com/products/viewbase/) for a couple of years now. Works in both horizontal and vertical position. I don’t know if you can use it on the bus, but it works great on a plane, and anywhere else when there’s something to clip it to.
It’s great for Starbucks, or Taco Bell, etc. Just clip on the side of the table. I also use it when I’m parked in the car and just clip it on the steering wheel drop the seat back and adjust for optimal viewing. I have an AUX plug in the car so the sound comes through the car speakers and it works awesome when watching Netflix movies!
