Font rendering fuzzy

Hello macrumors..
Just got my new iMac 24inch, and I must say that I love it, to some extent though. What I dislike are the way some fonts get rendered, particularly the font rendering on the screenshot. 😱

What can I do to fix the font rendering?

My font style is set to Light.
 
have you tried going into system preferences > appearance > and adjusted the "text smoothing" stuff? I have mine set like so:
