Stuck in Shuffle Mode

I have an older version of firmware, 1.0.2

My Ipod function works ok, but when I select any music to play, the song plays, but next is shuffled to a different song in the list, not the next song.
I have displayed above the tracks in an album the "Shuffle" option....but I never select it.

I am located in Southern China, so the phone is hacked to work with my China Mobile SIM card.

Any suggestions? If I need to upgrade firmware, then please let me know how to get a hack for that particular model of firmware.

Yeah, I just realized that I forgot to post the point of the thread. Man, I tell you...coffee really helps sometimes! :o
