Does a headset exist that has ipod music controls? I could not find one online...

you mean headphones with more functionality beyond pausing and skipping to the next song like the ones that come with the iphone? if so, no, there aren't any that do more, afaik...

sorry can that be done with the standard earphones you get with the phone?

yes. the microphone portion of the headset is also a controller - if you squeeze it once, it will pause music, and clicking twice quickly will fast-forward to the next song. if you receive a phone call, clicking once will answer the call and holding the button for 2 seconds will decline it. the full list of what can be done with the headset controller is on pages 22-23 of the iphone manual pdf.

what do u need volume control for on a headset??? is it that hard to just reach in ur pocket and hit the volume buttons???

I think the subject line says it all. What's the skinny on when a stereo wireless headset might be available? What good is Bluetooth if I can't listen to my tunes?
