How in the world did I not know about this service? Have I been that disconnected these last few years? How long has Gametap been around?

Have to say, I'm really impressed with their offered lineup. Nothing in the free list looks too impressive, but they've got some decently new titles in the paid membership, and that's pretty free. Then again, it's also ridiculously easy to get good games for nothing these days... But Gametap sounds really convenient. Anyone using trying this service out yet on mac?

I have been using it for awhile now but the premium version is not out yet. So you cant change things like key layouts which for some games make no sense!

I guess the removal of Mac support from Gametap in March 2009 (with the new "update" from the new French owners) didn't make the MacRumors headlines like the addition of Mac Support did in 2007. So much for that. I guess the Mac just isn't taken seriously as a game machine. Too bad the iPod Touch games don't run on the regular Macs. That device gets more games in a month than the entire Mac line gets in a year.
