Ive got a jailbreaked 1.1.2 and im on itunes now and its backing up iphone. Its 10 mins now and still saying its backing up. Does it normally take ages?

It's stuck. Just reboot the PC or Mac and disconnect iPhone. This shouldn't become much of a hassle, unless you did something else.
