I'm having difficulties finding other computers on the network so I can access their shared folders. Sometimes if I just reboot and go to Finder it will find them other computers.

How can I see what other computers are on the network without constantly having to reboot?

All I'm trying to do is locate the computer so I can access it's shared folder.
 
You mean that your Finder can find the other computers on the network via Bonjour, and you need to reboot for that to work.. hmm... strange... but lets' not look at that issue for too long.

You can always connect to another computer's shard folders by selecting from the "Go.." menu in the Finder "Connect to Server..."

The default sharing protocol is AFP (Mac to Mac sharing), so just typing the IP address, DNS name of Bonjour name of the remote computer will let you connect to another Mac on the network.
Is the other computer a PC, the type "smb://<ip.address.ofPC" and you should be able to connect that way too.
