Post your Christmas present predictions, what you think you will be getting or what you know your getting.

I know I'm getting 100 bucks from my mom for my iPhone fund, and I think my grandparents might be getting me piano lessons.
 
I'm buying myself a pair of jeans.

So, jeans.

I might spoil myself with some chocolate truffles, too.

A cargo bag for my bike rack.

I bought it, handed it to my mother and said, "this is from you".

I guess I have to practice my "surprised" look in the mirror for Christmas.

For me I think Christmas is going to be a mixture of college graduation presents (I am graduating Dec 15 WOO HOO) and Christmas.

I am thinking a Bike Roof rack for my car

Some new clipless pedal for my bike

Some pots and pans
Blender
Other kitchen appliances
Better crap for living on my own that the cheap college crap I have right now.
Furniture
Money
A Gyroscope (toy)

CO2 inflator for my bike
Other biking stuff
Battlestar DVD season 2 and 3'

Years of Christmas from my mom things have gotten some what predictable. Main items from my list will come up. Every year I do normally get at least one huge surprise that I want but never am expecting and it never on my list. Always something I have said in passing or in small convos of things I like but never expect. Last year it was my watch. Over the years I can think of multiple gifts I gotten that I never was expecting that I loved.
My gut is telling me this year is mostly going to be very easy to predict and no real surprises. My favorite gifts are always ones that I am never expecting to get of something I never really talked about but really want. Those are the gifts that make me feel loved.
 
I’m getting:

80 GB iPod Classic (silver)
Hairspray DVD
2 GB USB Flash Drive (for school)
Bedding (for school)
Clothes
2 pairs of shoes (from PacSun)
Everything else is a surprise…

Hopefully my MacBook Pro and Software for school will be here by Christmas so that can be a little present too.
 
I know I'm getting a pair of tennis shoes (I saw my wife's credit card statement) This will be nice--my last pair was about 10 years old!
 
Only expecting one present. Not interested in guessing though. Would much rather keep it a surprise for Christmas morning. 🙂

I asked my parents for a pedal board for my guitar pedals. Sent them a link to the one I want and they bought it. I'm sure they'll get me a bunch of other stuff I didn't ask for too, that's fine!
 
1) already got, My 80gb ipod classic, Well happy With It 😀
2) after christmas i'm getting a Nikon D300 🙂 so excited about it.
3) a Dell 30" Monitor, the wife needs convincing i need it, so it may be more like a christmas come June present.

but here's hoping you all have a good christmas anyway, and get everything you want 😉

How big is a "lump". I have some people I need to get gifts for.

I don't know if I'm getting anything. Of course, I'm not one for presents as, literally until I typed the last sentence I hadn't thought about a gift for my wife.

The artificial coal in the picture looks like it would be roughly 2"-cubed. Got it.

Daughter? Yeah - we've bought her enough crap, that we could probably embarrass Dudley Dursely. The best part is that she probably won't even notice and will end up playing in the boxes.

I suppose we could save most of them for her birthday and next Christmas....
 
I almost forgot! For Christmas, I got myself a new apartment, with a pool, gym, sauna, basketball court, pool table and (finally) a balcony.

Nice model Range Rover Sport. My mom just got a (real) rr sport HSE in November, its a fantastic car if I do say so myself.

-- Sister: Clothes and/or DVDs
-- Grandpa: $100-$150
-- Grandma: $50 (basically my parents $ because my grandma is in a home)
-- Aunt & Uncle: $60
-- (other) Aunt & Uncle: $50
-- Uncle: $100 check or made out to some charity in my name 😡
-- Other Uncle: Who knows, it depends if he remembers and/or shows up for xmas
-- God Parents: $50
-- Neighbor (random): $20

I asked my parents for a Nikon D40. Who knows if they'll get it for me. Usually they just give me money.
 
Oo, Looks like you guys are some cool gifts getting some cool gifts, My favorite is the gyroscope and the 30" monitor.

only money?? don't you like to get presents and be suprised?? trust me, it's much nicer!! 😛
 
Canon 50mm f/1.8 or a Speedlite 430EX from Dad. Mum's getting me a Wii but that's supposed to be a "family gift". I'd love a MacBook or a 30D but I know what's financially feasible and what's taking the piss. 🙂

On top of that, I think there's a few SanDisk Extreme III CF cards rolling my way along with a remote release for my 300D. There's nothing like Christmas to improve your setup, eh? 😀
