Grey Screen Startup Lockup!! Help!

PB17" will not go past the grey screeen at startup. The grey spinning wheel spins for about 30 seconds and then just stops...

Nothing happens after that.

Have safe booted, run fsck (no problems on HD) but have no idea what to do after that.

Anyone got ideas?

no...i had the same problem with my 12" powerbook:( sent it to apple

I have had this problem before as well, turned out to be faulty RAM, if that helps
