I recently bought a MBP and I don't know how to transfer photos I took with my iPhone to my MBP. In my old laptop (Windows) when I plugged in my iPhone it would open up in Windows Explorer as a digital camera device and I could just copy my images from there. So how do I do it on my a Mac? Also, the only way to put pictures to the phone from my Mac is by puttng my pictures on iPhoto?

1. go to the apple support site and download the iphone user guide pdf
2. read pages 10 and 79 in that guide
3. read the rest of the guide and post any other questions you have *after that* here 🙂
