Maybe a stupid question, but can I leave it installing for a few hours -- I need to run out, that won't hurt anything will it?
Thanks,

No, you'll be fine ... it will be waiting for you when you get back.

Kiss your keyboard goodbye. This might be the last time it works without freezing whenever Leopard pleases. Same with your wifi. Oh, and watch that battery life. Other than that, no, Leopard probably won't hurt anything.

Though my dad does seem to have a wifi problem with Leopard on his MacBook Pro whenever it goes to sleep.
