WTB: Cheep External CD drive

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a cheep external cd drive. Unfortunately, the dvd drive on my dell is not working and I need to reinstall windows xp :rolleyes:

so looking for something cheep, let me know!

Does it need to be external? I've got a bunch of internal CDROM drives. It is that hard to take out your DVD drive and stick a CDROM drive in there to install Windows?

Or are you on a laptop? If not, I can sell you an internal CDROM drive for $10 shipped.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, my internal hard drive isn't working at all so I thought that the easiest and cheapest thing to do would just be to by and external cd drive.

He means if you are using a desktop, it would be real easy just to pull out the bad drive and put a new one in. You can get an internal adapti drive for almost free anywhere.

If its a laptop then yes, and external would probably be your best bet. Tell us what computer your working with and maybe someone has a replacement.
