he he. good one. so i guess someone at google dislikes MS.
while we're doing the 'i'm feeling lucky' thing, goto Google.com and help Mr. Bush by searching for "weapons of mass destruction". and of course "i'm feeling lucky".... :D i love that one, i haven't seen it mentioned here though.. :D

I'm really slow today, what I posted was directly above.
Something is wrong with me today.
I love Google's sense of humor, especially their explanation of PidgeonRank.
Hope someone hasn't posted that before me.

the google search engine works on a reference basis. in this instance, it means that for all the sites with the phrase "evil empire" in a URL string, microsoft.com is the predominate target.
no programming necessary, just the (happy) result of global groupthink.

One of the first thoughts that came to mind reflected a past "instance" of such a google search with "hell".
Limited time offer, though.
(Damn, that sounded like a sale.)

M$ are trying to compete with Google as well, with their internet search engine. M$ wants to do to Google, what they did to Netscape. But it is a lot harder this time, just making MSN the default search engine does not work because Google is now so popular. People now use 'Google' instead of 'search'.

he saw what the heck can happen when the ceo goes for every home...it makes it look very close to a monopoly
could you imagine what it would be like if there was a car company that had the same percentage of cars on the road as microsoft has operating systems in people's homes and businesses? i think bill gates and microsoft still have a barrage of lawsuits that will threaten to plague them for many years to come...just because the world of software is still relatively new does not protect one from making a business monopoly with a product
thank god for linux and mac os...but sadly, there are so many negative preconceived notions about non-windows operating systems that the world will be stuck with windows for a long time...but no company, not even microsoft, can be the top dog forever because complacency sets in when you are number one
just like the egyptians, the greeks, and the roman empire fell (and those empires had something real to offer to the world)...he he... the evil empire (google search) of microsoft will be short-lived by comparison:p
