Hello

My MB (Leopard 10.5.1) behaves really strange since I've installed my Airport Express.

I have my own DNS in my little network (192.168.1.10). It is configured in the APE together with the DNS suffix.

* When I try to open a site in (e.g. discussions.apple.com) with Safari, it fails. Opening the same page with Firefox, works just fine.
* Some pages (e.g. store.apple.com) are opened, but without style sheets (looks ugly). Again, FF is just fine.
* Checking dns entries with nslookup works properly.

* When I do a ssh -l jochen singapore takes ages to connect. It behaves as expected when I use the IP address instead of the hostname.

All other systems (Ubuntu and Win XP) work without any issue

EDIT:
This is driving me nuts:

When I try to open www.whatismyip.com with Safari, my DNS has the following queries:
15-Dec-2007 00:13:29.637 info: client 192.168.1.100#50340: query: www.whatismyip.com IN A +
15-Dec-2007 00:13:29.638 info: client 192.168.1.100#50341: query: www.whatismyip.com IN AAAA +
15-Dec-2007 00:13:29.653 info: client 192.168.1.100#50342: query: www.whatismyip.com.home.mydomain.com IN AAAA +
15-Dec-2007 00:13:29.654 info: client 192.168.1.100#50343: query: www.whatismyip.com.mydomain.com IN AAAA +

The same URL with Firefox:
15-Dec-2007 00:07:42.538 info: client 192.168.1.100#50325: query: www.whatismyip.com IN A +

Again, Firefox works and Safari not.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Regards,
Jochen
