ATi is working on the new Radeon 9800 XT (extended) GPU.

It has an R360 chip, clocked higher than current Radeons.

yeah now wait another year before there's a mac version. By then you'll have the 10K Radeon or whatver the devil ATI will come out with.

oh come on, ATI has done a much better job keeping macs on par with PC cards.

ATI was much better at keeping things up to date when they were using VGA connectors.

How long did it take Apple to adapt the various nVidia reference cards to service ADC ports? It seems to me it took quite a while for the GeForce 3 and the 4Ti.

lets just hope they wise up and put adc on ALL of their mac cards instead of just the 9000.

me too! anyways looks like the 9800xt is the card to beat at this moment. toms hardware said nvidea would have some new stuff in the coming weeks
