I use to be able to connect to other mac's by clicking "go" "Connect to Server" and their mac would show up. And after connecting to it, I can put stuff on their public shared folder. But that was in Tiger. After I upgraded to Leopard, other mac's do not show up. Is there different way to do this on Leopard now? And yes, I have file share to "On."

I have found this, too. You just have to make a note of the IP address and type it in. You can then add it to your favourites.

That feature of Tiger was for Mac's on the same network correct? Because if so, Leopard integrates that into the Finder. If they're on the network it should show it in the Finder's sidebar. My wife's show up in my Finder as soon as she wakes up her MacBook.
