I have an unlocked iPhone - 1.1.1

I am using it on Rogers in Canada. I want to get a U.S. Pay as You Go T-Mobile SIM when I am in the states to use only when I'm in the U.S.

Can I simply just take my Rogers SIM out and replace it with the T-Mobile one?

Will this cause ANY issues to my phone or my rogers SIM when I get back?

Thanks!!!

my guess is no
won't you have to plug it to itunes and chose your Pay-as-you-go plan from there???
And will this actually work on a JB phone?

I'd say no, unfortunately

Please don't answer if you are clueless.

1.1.1 unlocked = full sim unlock

If it's fully unlocked there will be no problem.

Unlocked iPhone means any SIM card you put it works no matter what.

I think our to-go phones works differently over here. If I'm not mistaken the sims on to-go phones are locked to the phone they come with (you can't buy a to-go sim separately). Not only that, these phones are only dual-band meaning they lose out on the 850Mhz spectrum which covers a lot of area.

What are you talking about? This is about the iPhone. The OP obviously has an US iPhone.

Also, read here for specs.
