The Red Sox lost in the 12th inning tonight. Are there any other sox fans out there that are feeling my pain? :(

I'm just waiting for the Twin's game tomorrow. If they can take both games in NY the world might just stop spinning since no one would've ever dreamed of that happening. I still can't believe how well the played in the first game and I'm hoping it continues tomorrow.

GO TWINS.

In my town sox means white six but their season is over so i guess I might be able to follow.... secondly its more important that the cubs lost which is totally not cool atleast they are back to wrigley now and a couple of my friends have game 4 tickets which will be amazing

Yeah, I'm from the Chicago area and that Cubs game last night killed me. Although I would like to see a Red Sox vs. Cubs matchup in the World Series.

Not really a baseball fan but I'll throw in a Go A's

My house got buzzed by the fighter jet flyby for the game. The jets came past my house 3 times. It was only on the 3rd time I get to see them. Man those things were low and loud

Boston fans, I feel your pain! When I was watching the bottom of the ninth last night and they brought Embree in I knew it was over for the Sox. When he pitched for the Giants I would have to cover my eyes! I wish you all the luck in the world against a very tough A's team. I'd love to see a Giants-Sox series, but we are a long way from there after yesterday's results.

I'm lucky that I'm ambivalent. It doesn't matter to me one way or the other. The decision is made far above any of our pay grades!

I don't think that was a sonic boom you heard. It's very dangerous (and probably regulations) to go supersonic over residential areas. They probably reserve that for designated training areas.

Yeah Twins, I have to start a Physics midterm right when the game starts, but I'll be cheering for them in my head while struggling through this midterm.

Once again, Go Twins!

It sounds that for the Red Soxs, they have to showup Saturday ready to play. Otherwise they go home for the year. Then we will hear the familar refrain for Red Sox Fans, "Well there is always next year."

Never count the Red Sox out, not until the last out.

On a local newscast they interviewed Red Sox fans after the game yesterday.
They are a very optimistic lot, "We are going to win the next three." They should win here in Boston because they have the second best at home winning record. The only problem is that Oakland is number one!

I don't believe in the curse either.

What amazes me is that Fenway Park has capacity crowds. The average price for a seat at Fenway is $49 ($39 2002). It is the highest in MLB. the second highest is $24. See chart for 2002 figures!

Gooooo Cubbies!!! You beat my team, so I wanna see you go all the way.

I hate the Sox.

This probably comes from me being a former Yankees fan, but I just hate them.

I happen to be a huge StL Cardinals fan, so I was feeling depressed the first day of the playoffs...

Unfortunately the Sox just won 3-1 and the scene at Fenway is pathetic. They're acting like they just won the World Series. Thankfully the A's will win it tomorrow night and keep Boston home where they belong.

The A's got screwed in that game. There was some bad officiating.

Congratulations Red Sox! It was the first OT in a post season game in 28 years. The last time was during the World Series in 1975.

You caught me, just shows my lack of sports knowledge. A trivia note about Saturday nights game. In honor of the game the Hancock Tower spent 300 man hours closing shades and turning the correct lights. They displayed a sign saying "Go Sox."

I heard it won't be too bad... he'll probably have to stay the night for observation but he should be fine.

It's hard to imagine what those few A's fans (weren't) thinking... truly disgraceful behavior.
