Hi! I was wondering if there was any way to connect my Roland SP-404 Sampler through my M-Audio Fast Track Pro so I could record in either GarageBand or Logic. I have an RCA to two 1/4" TSR cables line that doesn't seem to work when I plug it into Fast Track's "Inserts" or "TSR Outputs". Really weird thing is... I get a faint recording in GarageBand when one of the TSR cables is halfway out of one of the Inserts sockets. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Is there another cable that I should have? The SP-404 only has the stereo line outs, and Fast Track only has the TSR input and a S/PDIF input (there are four different RCA output jacks, but I don't think that's what I need). Any help would be great. I couldn't find any help or inforemation anywhere else on the internet, so I'm desperate. Thanks!

I had an SP-404, but my interface is a Mackie Onyx Satellite....so I don't know if your interface will have the same inputs.

I went to Guitar Center and had to get some special cord, it's a balanced 1/4 inch jacks. I think this (http://www.guitarcenter.com/Hosa-Dual-TRS---TRS-Patch-Cable-333003-i1128903.gc) is the one I have. I know that they are balanced and so are the ones shown.

If you need any more help, just PM me and I can take a picture of the ones I have......but I think those are the ones you need, but if you need 1/4 inch to RCA, I think they make a pair of those as well, but I don't know if they are balanced or unbalanced.

They are LIKELY to be unbalanced if they are RCA no?
