just wondering if this new notebook thats coming out on jan. 15th would entirely replace the line of existing macbooks since they were updated in nov 2007.. thanks

are current macbooks gonna stay when new laptop comes on Jan. 15th?

If there is a new macbook pro, then the current macbooks will stay. The only reasons the current macbooks will go, is if they replace the macbook.
given how small and silent the last upgrade was I wouldn't rule it out entirely, but it' far from being certain.
