Do you think this (http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/06/11/07/apple_initiates_power_mac_g5_power_supply_repair_program.html) might be related?

It could be different things. If it's logic board it'll be expensive.

So I just inherited a 2ghz model which worked fine for my uncle but is not doing anything but 'click' (brief light)... and it is no longer under warranty nor does it fall under the serial numbers listed by apple. Has anyone paid or know what the cost of repair is on the power supply issue?
