Upgrade to Leopard using ARD

This may be a daft question but I would like to upgrade my Mum's Powerbook to Leopard using ARD. Is this possible? If so how do I go about doing it?

I don't think you'll be able to survive the reboot into the installer over ARD.

Is there no way to start the installer without reboot

You're going to need to reboot to boot off of the installer DVD.

There is absolutely no way to start the installer without reboot.

The only way to upgrade over a network would be to netboot the computer, and this is only possible if you have a Mac OS X server on the same subnetwork as the computer you are booting. This is also not simple at all.
