View Full Version : Doom3 Demo Problem...

i have a new 20-inch intel based iMac (new to iMac by the way) ...

i downloaded the Doom3 Demo and for some reason i am getting no sound. my volume is maxed and i tried playing around with the game settings but there doesnt seem to be a problem with them.

im new to Macs so i dont know what else to do lol ....

What should i do guys ...

Most likely the problem is due to the demo not being Intel native. I doubt there is anything that can be done to make it work on your Mac. Sorry

befor buying doom i installed the demo. it worked fine (i have intel core 2 duo). I was able to listen to audio and watch video no problem. where did you download it from?..

The game was good enough for me to want to purchase it. When i did, and installed that, I was able to only hear it but the screen was black. Then i went online and download the intel patch, and the game runs GREAT!

I like that game a lot. I could play, and then also play on the network and face off other members. Cool game!

i have a macbook pro and the sound worked fine on it. i think that it is a download promblem, because the promblem that i had was that the graphics were a little scwewy. i would try to re download:apple:

i think it's filefront from where i downloaded. Anyway the downloaded version worked fine on my imac. Regarding the graphics, i'm not sure it was your computer. The graphics give a little when you switch you view your PDA in the game. You will see numbers go across the screen... Or if it's to dark and you run you will see something like that. Like a little lag with numbers and letters across the screen... When you purchase it though, it looks HOT! GL
