they need to do a bit more research on the types of operating system you can run. i highly doubt that an intel processor will be able to run the Mac OS, or as this article calls it, "The Apple operating system".

very interesting concept though. there used to be DOS cards for old powermacs that contained a mobo and ram that allowed you to switch between the mac os and dos with a keystroke; very crude in comparison and fundamentally different in design, but still similar in its goal.

It can go in the bin with the LISP, Prolog, and Java chips. As interesting as it might be, it's likely that reality will sweep it away. That's if it even gets a chance.

IBM has plenty of experience creating operating systems which run guest operating systems. If there was truly a market for hardware to do it, they would be researching it.
