Um, why did eBay just charge me a $3.10 seller fee?

I sold something in November and paid my fees, but today I got charged another $3.10 as a recurring seller fee courtesy eBay!

How do I prevent this from happening again?

Honestly, I don't use eBay anymore because I like not having to worry about dishonest buyers/sellers.

Are you sure the message was from eBay? There are an awful lot of eBay lookalike scammers out there. They might just want you to click on a link. Was it addressed to you by your member name?

Everything sent by eBay will show at your eBay account messages. If it's not there, it's a fake.

Or it could be that someone sold something under his name after they hijacked the account. It doesn't seem to be all that uncommon on ebay.
